Never roster a worker whose check has lapsed
Every screening check, certificate and licence tracked, with expiry alerts and rostering blocks.
You stay audit-ready without a spreadsheet of expiry dates. Each worker’s NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, police check, first aid, medication competency, licence and right to work sit on their record with expiry dates, workers and managers are alerted before anything lapses, and non-compliant workers are blocked from shifts.
Free for 14 days, with rostering, the support worker app, progress notes and NDIS invoicing. Set it up yourself online.
What changes for you
Only cleared workers on shift
Workers with a missing or expired required credential are blocked from rostering, so a lapse can’t reach a participant’s home.
Renewals before they lapse
Workers and managers are alerted ahead of each expiry, so renewals happen before the worker comes off the roster.
Evidence ready for audit
Every credential is stored with its document, number and dates, so worker screening evidence is ready when your auditor asks.
Keeping every worker current
- Step 1Credential uploaded
The worker uploads the document with its number and expiry at onboarding or renewal.
- Step 2Reviewed
A manager checks the document and approves it onto the worker’s record.
- Step 3Expiry approaching
The worker and their manager are alerted ahead of the expiry date.
- Step 4Lapse blocked
If it lapses, the worker is blocked from shifts that require it until the renewal is approved.
See it in the app a closer look at the screens your team uses every day.
The roster won’t accept a worker who isn’t cleared
Each role and shift type carries the credentials it needs: a Worker Screening Check for every risk-assessed role, medication competency for shifts with medication support, a licence and car insurance for transport. When a coordinator tries to assign a worker who is missing one, CompanionAxis blocks it and says why.
- Requirements set per role and shift type
- Block shown with the missing credential
- Lifted as soon as the renewal is approved

Which credentials can we track?
NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, police checks, first aid and CPR, manual handling, medication competency, driver licence and car insurance, and visa and right to work, plus any other credential you define.
Will CompanionAxis verify Worker Screening Checks directly?
Not at launch. Today the clearance number, state and expiry are recorded from the worker’s document and reviewed by a manager. Direct verification with the screening database is coming soon.
Can we stop non-compliant workers being rostered?
Yes. You set the credentials each role and shift type requires, and workers missing one are blocked from those shifts until it is current.
