Behaviour support and restrictive practices

Restrictive practices authorised, recorded and reported

With the behaviour support plan in every worker’s hands.

Your workers follow the current behaviour support plan on every shift, and every use of a regulated restrictive practice is recorded and ready to report. Store and version BSPs, put strategies in front of workers at shift level, track authorisations to expiry and turn unauthorised use into a reportable incident.

What changes for you

No practice used without authorisation

Each regulated restrictive practice is held with its authorisation and expiry, and use outside it is flagged as a potential reportable incident.

Monthly reporting without the spreadsheet

Every recorded use builds the data you need for restrictive practice reporting to the NDIS Commission, ready to review and submit.

Workers know the strategies before they need them

The current BSP’s proactive and response strategies are on the worker’s shift, so the plan is followed in practice, not filed away.

From plan to Commission report

  1. Step 1BSP uploaded

Practitioner or provider uploads the plan and its restrictive practices.

  2. Step 2Authorisation recorded

Status and expiry captured for each regulated practice.

  3. Step 3Strategies on shift

Workers see the strategies and authorised practices for the participant.

  4. Step 4Use recorded

Each use logged with context; unauthorised use raises a reportable incident.

  5. Step 5Monthly reporting

Use data compiled for reporting to the NDIS Commission.

Questions buyers ask

Can our external behaviour support practitioner use it?

Yes. Invite practitioners with access scoped to the participants they work with, so they can upload plans and review behaviour and use data without seeing the rest of your organisation.

Does it submit our monthly restrictive practice report?

It compiles the use data by participant and practice so your team can review it and submit it to the NDIS Commission through the Commission’s portal.

What happens when an authorisation expires?

Reminders go out ahead of expiry. Once expired, the practice is marked unauthorised, and any recorded use from then on is flagged as a potential reportable incident.
