Write plans from real data and keep restrictive practices in check
Behaviour data from every shift, plans shared with implementing providers, use ready to report.
You base each behaviour support plan on what support workers record and see whether it is working. Behaviour data and incidents come in from shifts, plans and authorised practices are shared with implementing providers, and use of regulated restrictive practices is ready to report to the NDIS Commission.
Free for 14 days, with rostering, the support worker app, progress notes and NDIS invoicing. Set it up yourself online.
What changes for you
Plans built on recorded data
Behaviours of concern, triggers and strategies from every shift are charted per participant, so assessments start from evidence.
Restrictive practices kept authorised
Each regulated restrictive practice links to its authorisation and behaviour support plan, with review dates flagged before they lapse.
Plans reach the people using them
Implementing providers and support workers see the current plan and strategies on the shift, not an old PDF.
What it looks like day to day the people, places and moments this is built for.
What gets in the way today
Behaviour charts are kept on paper by implementing providers and sent in weeks later, if at all.
Plan and authorisation review dates sit in spreadsheets across several providers.
Restrictive practice reports are assembled by hand from multiple sources.
Plans that follow the participant, not the filing cabinet
- Shift data available the day it is recorded
- Authorisation expiries listed for every participant
- Restrictive practice use ready to report
- Current strategies on the support worker’s phone
- Billable assessment time captured on the note

Does CompanionAxis lodge plans and reports with the NDIS Commission?
No. It prepares the information you need, including restrictive practice use by participant and period. You lodge plans and reports through the NDIS Commission portal as usual.
Can implementing providers who do not use CompanionAxis send data?
You can invite their staff to a participant’s record through the connected care network, with access limited to what they need, so they can record behaviour data and practice use directly.
