Under differentiated pricing, registered and unregistered providers can have different NDIS price limits. CompanionAxis prices each line from the registration status of the entity that delivered it, on the date of service.
Before you begin
- A role that can update legal entities (
settings.entities.update). - Your legal entities set up with their NDIS registration details.
Set an entity’s registration status
- Go to Settings → Organisation and sites and open the Legal entities tab.
- Check the Registration column: Registered, Unregistered, Registration pending, Lapsed or Revoked.
- Select the entity to open it, then scroll to the Registration card.
- Choose the New status, the date it Takes effect, an optional Expires date and a Note.
- Select Record registration change. Price limits follow the new status from that date.
Compare registered and unregistered limits
- Go to Billing → Pricing Schedule and open Support items.
- Switch between Registered and Unregistered and compare the Price limit column.
- In What changes, each item shows registered and unregistered limits before and after a version change.
Check which limits each entity uses
- On Billing → Pricing Schedule, open the Registration tab.
- Each entity card shows its ABN, NDIS registration number, status, expiry and status history.
Each invoice line is checked against the price limit for the registration status of the entity that delivered the support on that date. Past invoices keep the limits that applied then.
When registration changes
- Record the change on the entity with the date it takes effect, as above.
- Check upcoming quotes and service agreements for the affected entity.
- Review draft invoices dated after the change before sending them.
Tips
- Keep Registration expires current; the dashboard and reports use it to warn you before registration lapses.
- If you run registered and unregistered services, keep them in separate legal entities so lines price correctly.
- For current rules, read the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits published by the NDIA.
If something goes wrong
