Loading a new NDIS Pricing Schedule and Support Catalogue

CompanionAxis loads each official NDIS Pricing Schedule version for you and applies it by date of service. This article shows how to check a new version, see its impact and reprice quotes and invoices.

Before you begin

  • Permission to view the pricing catalogue (finance, coordinator and manager roles).
  • To preview your own catalogue file: the catalogue import permission (Finance role).

Check what is in force

  1. Go to Billing → Pricing Schedule.
  2. Read the cards: In force today, Next change, Versions loaded and Registration.
  3. On the Support items tab, change As at to a future date, or select the From button of a scheduled version, to see the prices that will apply.
  4. Switch between MMM 1–5, Remote and Very remote, and Registered or Unregistered, to see each limit.

Review what changes

  1. Select Compare versions, or open the What changes tab.
  2. Choose the Version to compare with the one before it. Badges count new, removed, increased and decreased items.
  3. Filter the table by Change and export it if you need to share it.
  4. For a version that starts in the future, the Impact on your records panel below counts what to review, such as Agreed rates above the new limit and Rostered shifts from the change date.

Update quotes and invoices

  1. Shifts are priced by their date of service, so nothing needs to change for invoicing: lines before the change keep the old limits.
  2. For quotes and agreements, open each one, go to the Versions tab, choose Reprice to Pricing Schedule version… and select Reprice as new version. Signed agreements change through Vary the agreement or Draft a renewal.
  3. If the NDIS publishes a change back-dated to services already invoiced, go to Billing → Invoices → Re-price after a price change (see Credit notes, adjustments and voiding an invoice).

Preview a catalogue file yourself (optional)

  1. On the Versions tab, set Date a previewed catalogue would apply from.
  2. Select Preview a catalogue and choose the CSV or Excel file.
  3. The file is read in the background and listed with a Preview only badge. Use it for quote previews and what-if only.
  4. Remove a preview you no longer need with the bin icon.

Tips

  • Invoices and claims always use the official NDIS version CompanionAxis publishes and checks. Previews never price an invoice or claim.
  • A version marked Sample is development data; check the notice shown at the top of the page.
