What Axis AI note drafting and the note quality check will do, what the preview shows today, and how to write notes meanwhile.
Before you begin
- Nothing to set up: this feature is a preview.
What it will do
- Draft a note from dot points: you jot down what happened, Axis AI writes the note, and you edit and sign it as your own note.
- Note quality check: checks a note’s length, goal links and wording to review before it is approved.
- Every suggestion needs a person to approve it; nothing is saved without your signature.
What you see today
- In Care → Progress notes, the Axis AI tab shows a Coming soon badge and a banner explaining the feature (planned for Q2 2027).
- In the support worker app, the Draft with Axis AI tile and Check my note link appear on the note screen; without the add-on they say Axis AI isn’t switched on for your organisation yet.
When the add-on is switched on
- Open the Axis AI tab, choose the Participant and Goal worked on, type Dot points (one per line) and select Draft note.
- Read the draft. Select Edit to change it, then Sign as my note, or Discard.
- In the app, tap Draft with Axis AI, enter Your dot points, tap Draft note, then Use this draft. You still submit the note yourself.
Meanwhile
- Write notes in the support worker app using the prompt chips. See the note-writing guide.
Tips
- The AI never submits a note: you are always the author.
If something goes wrong
The app says “Axis AI isn’t switched on for your organisation yet.”
Your organisation does not have the add-on. Write the note yourself.
“Drafting needs a connection.”
Drafting runs online only. Write the note offline instead.
